Abstract:

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic disease in which articular cartilage is regressed, but its specific pathogenesis is still unclear. The renin-angiotensin system (RAS) plays an important role in maintaining the stability of the internal environment of the human body. In recent years, it has also been recognized as an important regulatory signal network of osteoarthritis, playing an important regulatory role in the occurrence and development of osteoarthritis. This article reviewed the molecular mechanism of RAS signaling pathway regulation of osteoarthritis and degeneration.
