Bibliometrics analysis of articles related to anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction

Abstract

Abstract:

Being the main treatment for anterior cruciate ligament injury, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) is the most important research field in orthopaedics and sports medicine. With previous reviews focusing on a certain research problem, few study provides a macroscopic perspective of ACLR research field with bibliometric methods. This review analyzed all the articles published in the past two decades related to ACLR and showed the developing trend, current status and research hotspot in ACLR research field, providing a comprehensive and in-depth understanding for researchers.
