The phenomenon of overstuffing widely exists in clinical work, but it is easy to be ignored. It would cause a variety of adverse consequences, such as anterior knee pain, poor patellar track , flexion limitation and increased patellofemoral joint pressure. In this article, the author completed literature search in China National Knowledge Infrastruction(CNKI), WanFang data, Chines Medical Citation Index(CMCI)and Pubmed. Finally 47 articles were included to summarize the impact of current overstuffing and possible solutions.
