Abstract:

At present, metabolomics has been widely used in the fields of disease diagnosis, new drug research and development, drug mechanism research, and food science. In the clinical field, metabolomics is the most widely used and reported in cancer-related research. At the same time, a certain number of systematic metabolomics studies have been reported in the field of femoral head necrosis related mechanism research. Based on these studies, a series of meaningful potential candidate biomarkers have been screened for femoral head necrosis, which are expected to provide new reliable indicators for early diagnosis and disease monitoring of femoral head necrosis. This article reviewed and summarized the prospect of metabolomics research on early-stage osteonecrosis of the femoral head.
