Abstract:

As an effective supplement to traditional randomized controlled trials, real-world researchstudy has gradually become a research hotspot in various medical fields in recent years. At present, the population of patients with osteoarthritis is gradually increasing in China. Because most patients with osteoarthritis are middle-aged and elderly people, and most of them are accompanied by other systemic diseases, the study of randomized controlled trials has certain limitations. Real-world study can provide clinicians with more information and data consistent with the real medical environment, and provide corresponding guidance and help for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis. However, there are still some shortcomings in real-world study, including patient privacy protection, data processing and other issues, which require relevant departments to further improve their regulations to promote the development of real-world researchstudy in the medical field.
