Abstract:

Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction(ACLR) is the most common treatment for anterior crutiate ligament (ACL) rupture. When to return to sport after ACLR is a common concern for doctors and patients. In the existing literature, there is no consensus on the timing of evaluating patients′ RTS. Common indicators include postoperative time, lower limb muscle strength, functional score and single-leg hop testing. In recent years, researchers have begun to pay more attention to the single-leg hop testing. This article summarized the above measurements and single-leg hop testing, aiming to provide a reference for clinicians to evaluate RTS.

Key words: Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, Return to sport, Quadriceps muscle, Muscle strength
