Abstract:

Subchondral bone plays an important role in the occurrence and development of osteoarthritis, and it is also an important anatomical factor to study the pathogenesis and treatment of osteoarthritis. Post-traumatic osteoarthritis is a common type of osteoarthritis, which usually develops after injury. Anterior cruciate ligament injury is the main cause of post-traumatic osteoarthritis. The integrity of subchondral bone structure and function can reflect the development and prognosis of post-traumatic osteoarthritis. Although cartilage has been the focus of research on the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis for a long time, the role of subchondral bone in osteoarthritis has attracted more and more attention. In addition, the pathological changes of subchondral bone in post-traumatic osteoarthritis can clarify the course of the disease. In the treatment of post-traumatic osteoarthritis, future research should combine the changes of subchondral bone in different periods and take subchondral bone as the target for prevention and treatment.
