Research progress of unicompartmental knee arthroplasty for knee osteoarthritis

Abstract

Abstract:

Osteoarthritis of knee joint is the main cause of knee joint pain and discomfort, the decrease of knee joint activity and the deformity of knee joint.Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) is becoming more and more mature and has achieved satisfactory clinical results.In this paper, the selection of patients, indications, operation, postoperative rehabilitation and complications of single compartment knee arthroplasty for knee osteoarthritis were reviewed.
