Abstract:

Periprosthetic infection is one of the most serious complications after artificial joint replacement, and there has been no clear standard for the choice of treatment.Two-stage revision surgery is the most common treatment for postoperative infection after joint replacementat present. The infection clearance rate can reach 82%-92%, but it takes a long time and many costs, Moreover, it may increase the incidence of postoperative complications and mortality of patients. This article reviewed the current status of infection treatment after artificial hip joint and knee joint replacement, aiming to provide theoretical basis for treatment and research progress.
