Abstract:

Osteoarthritis has become one of the main orthopedic diseases. Artificial joint replacement is an effective treatment for osteoarthritis of hip and knee. However, depression is common in patients prior to joint replacement surgery and has a negative effect on the prognosis of patients. This paper focused on the pathogenesis of hip and knee diseases and the effect of depression on the postoperative outcomes of joint replacement.
